● Eric Levenstein has been appointed chair of the South African Restructur­ing and Insolvency Practition­ers Associatio­n. He is head of the insolvency, business rescue & restructur­ing practice at Werksmans Attorneys and the South African representa­tive on the board of Insol Internatio­nal, a global group of insolvency practition­ers. ● Cell C has appointed COO Douglas Craigie Stevenson interim CEO. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the telecoms industry, having led Telekom Networks Malawi and filled senior roles at Vodacom, including group MD of Vodacom Business Africa.

He holds a bachelor of accounting sciences honours degree and an MBA.

Law firm Webber Wentzel has appointed Warren Drue and Ghassan Sader as partners in its corporate practice.
