Faith in the process

-

There is cracking the whip on slacking employees, and then there is acting like a racist bully. Faith Mazibuko did the latter. In ANC circles she is not known for providing strategic leadership or contributing in shaping the party’s policy. Remember when she told a young mother to close her legs after she dared to ask how she could get a social grant? Her claim to fame is singing the praises of Jacob Zuma and shouting slogans. But her name is high on the ANC list for the Gauteng legislature, which will make it difficult for premier David Makhura to ignore her when he assembles his cabinet. Now she has to answer to the ANC’s integrity commission on why the “combi courts” had to be built when processes were not followed. Gauteng must put its faith in the commission to show Mazibuko the door.
