STRANGE BUT TRUE

-

Tired of rude customers, a coffee shop in Nice, France, has instituted a unique system to encourage people to be nice to its staff. Now, at La Petite Syrah, if you ask for “un café” (a coffee) it will set you back €7 (R113). If you include the magic words “s’il vous plaît” (please) you’ll get the same drink for €4.25 (R68). And if you throw in a “bonjour” too, you pay a mere €1.40 (R22).
