-

● GoIndustry DoveBid has something for everyone next month — it is selling five properties, from a five-bedroom home on a luxury estate to two lock-up-and-go bachelor flats. These are all forced-sale properties that form part of legal estates.

On May 22, an Absa power of attorney auction in Springs, Gauteng, will include two well-secured apartments to be sold separately. Both one-bedroom flats, they are ideal as bachelor pads or for those scaling down.

Following this, on May 23, is the liquidation auction of a modern, twobedroom apartment with en-suite bathrooms along the Strand beachfront in the Western Cape. The open-plan kitchen/living area caters for entertaining with an additional scullery and laundry room beyond the modern kitchen.

The following week, on May 28, is a deceased estate auction in Barkly West, in the Northern Cape. The property offers an erf subdivided into seven units: five twobedrooms units and two one-bedroom units, with great rental potential.

A second Absa power of attorney auction, of a five-bedroom luxury family home in a secure country estate in Rynfield, 4km outside Benoni in Gauteng follows on May 29. This double-storey property boasts an erf size of approximately 703m² with a domestic living area, four garages and an outside storeroom.
