● A luxury country estate home, beachfront apartment and more will go on auction this month. GoIndustry DoveBid are selling five properties, from a four-bedroom home on a luxury golf estate to two lock-up-and-go bachelor flats.

These are all forced-sale properties that form part of legal estates.

The first insolvency auction, to be held on May 21, is of a cosy three-bedroom family home in Somerset West with rental potential by way of a granny flat on the property.

On May 22 is an Absa power-of-attorney auction in Springs, east of Johannesburg.

The auction includes two well-secured apartments to be sold separately. Both onebedroom flats, they are ideal as bachelor pads or if you are scaling down.

On May 23 is a liquidation auction of a modern, two-bedroom apartment with ensuite bathrooms along the Strand beachfront, in the Western Cape, with magnificent sea views.

The open-plan kitchen/living area caters well for entertaining, with an additional scullery and laundry room beyond the modern kitchen.

The following week, on May 28, there is a deceased estate auction in Barkly West in the Northern Cape.

The property offers an erf subdivided into seven units: five two-bedrooms units and two one-bedroom units, which have great rental potential for any property owner.

On May 29 is a second Absa power-of-attorney auction, of a five-bedroom luxury family home situated in a secure country estate in Rynfield, Benoni, in Gauteng.

This double-storey property boasts an erf size of approximately 703m² with a domestic living area, four garages and an outside storeroom.
