Samantha Enslin-Payne should not be comparing an impenetrably guarded state monopoly of an essential service with private-sector players competing for market share in a less-essential service, “Cellphone companies penalised for following ‘user pays’ script” (May 5).
She should also mention what return on investment shareholders expect, as indicated by the history of share price movement and dividend payment policy of the two successful “duopolists”.
