‘Massive’ wholesale homeware auction

-

● Park Village Auctions (PVA) has announced a “massive” homeware and lifestyle auction at which the stock from four wholesale-to-public plastics, homeware and leisure retail concerns will be made available.

That’s the word from PVA’s Elaine Hague, who says retailers, caterers, event organisers and homeowners will be spoilt for choice.

First to go under the hammer will be an assortment of multi-tier and gondola shelving, followed by glassware and crockery. This includes glasses, milkshake glasses, beverage dispensers, serving jugs, storage jars, mugs, dinner plates, side plates, various serving bowls, ice-cream bowls, vases and ornaments.

Plastic ware and storage containers include lunch boxes, bottles, bins, plastic boxes, basins, buckets, cooler boxes and kiddies plastic table-and-chair sets.

Cooking and baking equipment includes baking dishes, serving dishes, platters, cake pans and cake decorations. Balloons, banners, serviettes, candles, candle-holders and more décor will also be on sale.

Under the banner of pet accessories, dog beds, blankets, jerseys, feeding bowls, toys and various related items will be sold. The last lots of the day will see miscellaneous items such as bread bins, mops, brooms, dustbins, prints, rugs, artificial flowers, mirrors, wall clocks, televisions, headboards, ottomans, blinds, photo frames, kitchen chemicals, garden accessories and point-ofsale equipment on the block.

“Our warehouse aisles are laden with something for everyone, and for every corner of the house,” says Hague. “The goods were destined for retail shelves, so they are in pristine condition.”

The auction is at PVA’s Prolecon warehouse, 8 Prolecon Road, at 10.30am on Tuesday. Lots can be viewed tomorrow from 9am to 4pm.
