Sale of trucks and trailers scheduled for this week

-

After a hugely successful April auction, Park Village Auctions (PVA) will make assorted genuine bank-repossessed trucks and trailers available at its truck yard at Nasrec this week.

Over the years, PVA has established a reputation for bringing quality truck tractors, trailers, yellow metal and farming equipment to market. The company is set to provide more of the same at the auction on Thursday May 30 at 10.30am.

LeRoy Augustyn, PVA’s head of asset recovery, said: “Our previous Nasrec auction was a huge success. As prices for new vehicles continue to rise, fleet managers are looking for ways to replenish their inventory without overextending themselves. Our sales represent an excellent opportunity to acquire quality used vehicles at lower-thandealer rates.”

Notable lots include a fleet of Iveco Stralis 480, Afrit and Paramount Tautliner link trailers.

Bidders can also expect two Paramount high-volume dropside link trailers and a Pantech link trailer.

Under the banner of truck tractors, expect Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Nissan UD. Rigid trucks comprise a mixture of Hino, Tata, Toyota Dyna, Mitsubishi and JMC. There are also a Hino water tanker and a Daihatsu Gran Max LDV 1 Ton pickup on the block.

The auction will take place at Gate 2 of the Nasrec showgrounds, 1 Nasrec Road. The assets can be viewed on site on Wednesday May 29 from 9am to 4pm.
