IF YOU HAVE 6 MINUTES ’Asimbonanga’ — YouTube

It’s been a week of sentiment, nostalgia and outpouring of despair, fond memories and recollections of musical legend Johnny Clegg, who died on Tuesday at the age of 66. In the spirit of the great heart you can take six minutes to watch that most famous of clips on YouTube — the one where, during a 1999 concert in Frankfurt, while performing the song he wrote about Mandela in 1986, Clegg’s performance is lifted by the surprise appearance of the great man himself on the stage.

Karim Amer and Jehane Noujaim’s fascinating and timely documentary takes the Cambridge Analytica Facebook data-selling scandal as a starting point for a bigger, provocative examination of the threats that these kind of things pose to everyday users. Data is now the most valuable commodity in the world and big tech companies are ruthless in their exploitation of it at the expense of the democracyloving users who fill their coffers.

IF YOU HAVE 4 HOURS ’Comedians in cars getting coffee: 2018 freshly brewed’ — Netflix

It’s a simple concept that mixes three of the US’s favourite things: cars, coffee and comedians. In the latest iteration, Jerry Seinfeld continues to get fun, intimate and revealing moments out of his pals as they drive around in a selection of cars trading jokes and life stories. It’s easy to watch, fun to absorb and the latest season ends with a memorable and fitting final tribute to comic legend Jerry Lewis as the two most famous Jerrys in US comedy take a drive together.
