Office furnituremaker’s assets on the block
Sale items ‘capable of many manufacturing applications’
● Machinery and equipment stemming from the liquidation of a high-end office furniture manufacturer will go under the Park Village Auctions (PVA) hammer on Tuesday September 17.
PVA’s Werner Burger says the broad range of assets on offer lend themselves to numerous manufacturing applications.
A few of the items up for grabs are a Rover AS 1332 UTS CNC machine, an Artech Skill 300 CTS and a Selco Sektor 470 panel saw from Biesse, a 12.8-bar Atlas Copco and a 2010 Fini air compressor, a Doosan Pro-5 3.5t diesel forklift, a Samco belt sander and dust collector, pallet jacks and assorted steel clamps.
Austro machinery and equipment include a Fravol edge spindle, a Fravol RX 300 and an Edgematic edge bander, a Casolin panel saw, an Austro Kaban AA 1020 single-head mitre saw, a hammer planner, a Woodman SR-750 spindle overhead router, an Orma hot press machine, and a dust collector.
A selection of office furniture and miscellaneous office equipment will make up the final lots for the day.
Burger says the assets on offer are in good working order and thus represent a favourable opportunity for the market to acquire reliable second-hand machinery and equipment at fair rates.
The auction will start at 10.30am on site at 13 9th Street, Doornfontein, Johannesburg.
Viewing will take place tomorrow from 9am-3pm.
