We all eat with our eyes, we all know that but add branding and packaging and one’s opinion is swayed before you have even tasted the product. So to ensure the tastings are free and fair all packaging is removed, the products are numbered and if required, are prepared exactly to package instructions and presented to the panel who rate each product on a score-sheet according to appearance, aroma, taste — and whether they would buy the product or not.
