Brush up on your pino and pinotage at the Stellenbosch Wine Festival in Johannesburg today

Whether you’re a connoisseur, novice or want to brush up on your pino and pinotage, enjoy the last day of the Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay in Joburg today and taste wines from 40 Stellenbosch estates. Once you’ve tasted a wine you fancy you will be able to purchase it at the price you’d pay at the estate.

The Pick n Pay Tasting Room is where chefs and winemakers are collaborating and sharing their picks and melt-in-your-mouth canapés.

Pick n Pay are showcasing their latest and most exciting offerings of fresh bread, cheese, meat, deli items and farm fresh fruit and vegetables, all available for sampling. At the Food Market you can purchase delicious burgers, fish & chips, cheese platters and steak boards, plus vegetarian dishes, too. And for coffee lovers, there’s a truck serving a selection of hot and cold drinks.

No event is complete without live entertainment and there’s an exciting line-up — Majozi, Jerry & the Bandits and Pilani Bubu are some of the talented musicians who will keep the vibe going, while Hot FM’s favourite DJs will broadcast from the event.

Today, Sunday October 6: Noon to 6pm, Wanderers Club Cricket Fields, Illovo Tickets: General admission: R225 per person. Children under 18: free of charge but they are not allowed to participate in the wine tasting.
