● Van’s Auctioneers would like to remind all farmers of two farms that will be offered on auction this week.

On Wednesday this week at 11am, a cattle and grazing farm of nearly 900ha near Vryheid in KwaZulu-Natal will be offered. The farm is half game- and half cattlefenced and has a carrying capacity of about three livestock units per hectare. There is a borehole, natural springs and a holding earth dam of about 2.5ha. The farm has red Hutton soil and more or less 400ha can be converted for crop farming.

A potato, crop and game farm of 340ha in the Kroonstad district will come under the hammer at 11am on Friday. This farm has potato fields of about 126ha and more or less 36ha of sunflower fields. It also has a 125ha game camp, which is game-fenced, and a borehole.

Both auctions will be held at the respective farms. For more information
