If you want to duck out, start packing — and go back to your old life. Alternatively, resign yourself to growing up — just a bit — and taking a new direction. And while you’re there, grab that upcoming business trip.

Shared beliefs are what you’re hoping for. And frankly, that might be the only salvation for a love that’s suffering from mutual distrust. And don’t pretend the problem is purely about money either.
