Complete blanket factory going
● Park Village Auctions will soon bring to market the entire contents of a blanket manufacturing concern in liquidation.
That’s the word from PVA’s Werner Burger, who explains that the assets on offer represent a favourable opportunity for existing or start-up textile manufactures to “hit the ground running”.
Notable lots include a large assortment of Wuxy Jinglong machinery, namely numerous artificial circular knitting machines and a cloth-cutting machine.
From Lianyungang Runian, three automated cloth-brushing machines, eight automated “smaller type” cloth-brushing machines, and four automated “single unit” cloth-brushing machines.
The sale further includes a 3.2m vertical panel press, a 4m cloth inspection machine, a 3.2m cloth inspection machine, a 2005 ZGL automated “dual function” cloth-brushing machine and a ZGL colouring line, six Kingstar industrial overlockers, two dust extractor rooms, a “collecting and feeder” line, a spreader frame, a steaming tunnel, a water plant, a boiler house, a washer line and assorted office furniture and other items.
The plant, at 530 Nicholson Drive, Denver, Johannesburg, is conveniently located close to the M2 Francois Oberholzer freeway and Geldenhuys interchange, which provides access to the N3 highway.
The auction will take place on site on Tuesday at 11am. A viewing will be held the day before, from 9am to 4pm.
