The Village expands Steyn City’s parkland lifestyle

F

ive years after its initial launch, Steyn City in Midrand continues to surprise and delight potential residents and investors alike. Most recently, the development launched The Village, its Phase 2 stands.

The Village comprises 125 stands, all with a creek-side location in this indigenous parkland, threaded with walkways and boasting abundant birdlife. This is as close to country living as is possible in Joburg – but, with facilities such as the renowned Steyn City School campus (from Grade 000 through to college) within walking distance, as well as the XIX restaurant, The Deli and Capital Park commercial offices, there’s no compromise on convenience.

Stand sizes range from 800m2 to 3, 578m2 and are priced from R3m. Elevation and the presence of many north-facing stands add to the area’s appeal, while views over the creek and golf course enhance the sense of serenity which is Steyn City’s hallmark.

Residents in this part of the parkland will enjoy easy access to the Cedar Road gatehouse, with all of Joburg’s new north’s amenities an easy drive away. With everything you could need for a happy, healthy, balanced lifestyle right on your doorstep – from kilometres of track for running and cycling, an equestrian centre, an indoor aquatic centre with heated pools, outdoor gym stations and play nodes for children – there’s no real reason to leave the parkland. The Village stands have an added advantage for families with young children, as the Dino Dig play area, offering hours of fun, is close by.

It all adds up to a place that recalls the slow pace of yesterday – with rolling lawns and a hundred shades of green vying for your attention. No small wonder, then, that the development was last year ranked Gauteng’s best lifestyle resort by New World Wealth.
