Steeped in blood and history

The school in Dube Village was founded by JL Dube in 1900, and it is where Nelson Mandela cast his vote on April 27 1994. After voting, he said: “This is, for all South Africans, an unforgettable occasion. It is the realisation of our hopes and dreams that we have cherished over decades. The dreams of a South Africa which represents all South Africa.”
