-

MSP Developments recently announced that they were set to launch a new development called Bonsai Estate on a prime pocket of land in the heart of Langeberg

Ridge in Durbanville in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.

Accessible pricing, a natural environment with 28 existing trees on site, landscaped parks and recreational areas have seen prelaunch interest and contracts with a combined sales value in excess of R25m already signed.

To add to the attraction of the estate, MSP Developments has released a limited offer of R100,000 rental assistance for 30 of the 120 luxury apartments. “This is a limited launch offer, where purchasers of 30 selected apartments at Bonsai Estate will receive a R100,000 early-bird buyer saving if they seal the deal by 31 October

2020,” says MSP Developments CEO Riaan Roos.

The R100,000 injection will be a substantial boost for the 30 lucky buyers for the apartments priced from R1,399,900. Potential purchasers are acutely aware of the attractive current interest rate and are looking for great deals. The Bonsai Estate apartments offer just this and make for an excellent investment buy, with an anticipated gross yield of 8%.

“With our strategic partners we invested considerable time in researching the market and planning this project, and believe that our designs, finishes, landscaping, amenities, security and unique location will set Bonsai Estate apart from anything else on offer in the area. It’s being developed on a prime site, on the last pocket of land in a mature, well-located suburb. It promises to be a flagship scheme offering outstanding value in terms of location, lifestyle and choice to both young professionals and families. Once complete, there will be 120 apartments and 94 freestanding homes,” Roos says.

Bonsai Estate is ideal for contemporary family living and will feature a number of landscaped parks and recreational areas, including a one-of-a-kind children’s play area designed in conjunction with leading play equipment manufacturer Wooden Elements. There will also be a kick-about field.

The initial set of apartments to which the rental assistance offer of R100,000 applies, consists of two-bedroom, onebathroom units boasting balconies and outdoor braai units, with two parking spaces (one covered and one open bay).

Two interior moods are being offered and fittings and finishes include quality vinyl and tile flooring, engineered stone countertops, a Bosch stainless-steel built-in oven, hob and extractor and Hansgrohe sanitaryware. There are six apartment configurations to choose from with sizes ranging from 68,3m2 to 77,6m2.

In addition, there are 16 premium apartments, priced from R1,699,900, which feature extra-spacious interiors of 77,6m2 and come standard with the following Bosch appliances: stainlesssteel built-in oven, hob, extractor, stainless-steel fridge/freezer, and washing machine/tumble dryer combo.

The freestanding homes on offer in Bonsai Estate are sized from 145,2m2 to 189,74m2, include three bedrooms and two or 2,5 bathrooms and are priced from R2,299,900. Each boasts contemporary architecture with stylish interiors for simplified modern living.

A low securing deposit of only R25,000 applies, and the estate is pre-approved by all major banks with 100% mortgage bonds available. No transfer duties are payable.
