Limpopo farm for cattle or game

-

● Park Village Auctions in association with Jack Klaff Auctioneers will soon make available a sizable Limpopo farm said to have “enormous potential”.

That’s the word from Jack Klaff, speaking on behalf of the two auction houses, saying that both firms are elated to be behind such an exciting sale.

Said Klaff: “Farms of this stature don’t come around often. The land is a prime cattle or game farm.”

The farm in question, Farm Pyppan, 326 Registration Division LQ, Steenbokpan, is located in the Waterberg district of Lephalale, Limpopo — an area known for its tourism and unique biosphere — only three-and-ahalf hours from Pretoria.

Set on game-fenced land measuring 1,294ha, the established farm features a family home, a guest camp, three feed sheds, seven boreholes, four cement reservoirs, six drinking troughs and a natural water hole.

The home is a five-bedroom, three-bathroom house with an open-plan kitchen, a dining room, lounge, entertainment room, veranda and a carport for four vehicles.

The game farm rest camp comprises two thatched chalets, a kitchen and a lapa flanked by outbuildings used as a cold room and meat preparation area, and a storeroom.

“Farm Pyppan holds enormous potential as a revenue-generating farm, be it for game viewing and hunting or rearing cattle,” said Klaff.

He anticipates that the auction will attract a broad spectrum of experienced farmers — especially seeing as it will be online only.

The sale will commence at 11am on Tuesday via PVA’s proprietary online auction system. Bidders must register on PVA’s website beforehand to participate. Registration details and support are available from Anna Mahlangu, who can be reached on 011-7894375.

Viewing can be arranged by appointment via Jack Klaff, on 082-808-2471, Hansie Taute on 082-457-4172, or by e-mailing jackklaff@klaff.co.za.
