Compli-Serve Gauteng, which provides regulatory advisory and compliance services to the financial services sector, has appointed Elzabe Botha a director.
She has been a compliance officer on the Compli-Serve team in Gauteng for almost 12 years.
“It’s exciting to work on future prospects for the brand, in a new capacity. I feel proud to be able to grab the opportunities that come my way,” said Botha about her new role.
The University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (Gibs) has appointed Dr Rozett Phillips, formerly of Absa, director of value creation. Phillips has a medical degree and an MBA from the University of Cape Town, and a postgraduate diploma in futures studies from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
Gibs dean Dr Morris Mthombeni said: “We are looking forward to working with Roze as she brings a wealth of experience and strategic expertise to enable Gibs to grow in a digitally led and transformative learning environment.”
MTN Group has appointed Chika Ekeji strategy and transformation executive; he joins MTN from McKinsey & Company in Nigeria, where he led the West Africa digital practice and served telecoms, financial services and public sector clients across Africa. Ekeji has a master’s of engineering in computer science from Cornell University and an MBA from MIT.
