Van Damme the torpedoes

-

Still on the DA, Hogarth has taken a keen interest in the tweets of one of its MPs, Phumzile van Damme (no relation to Jean-Claude). On April 6, the anniversary of the death of Solomon Mahlangu, she responded to a video clip of a movie on the life of young revolutionary thus: “Rest in Power, IYOH Solomon, Solomoniii”. Emojis of two clenched fists accompanied the tweet. Yesterday — the day the death of Chris Hani was commemorated — Ms Van Damme tweeted: “Rest in power, Chris Hani. I hope on this day, your words will be remembered: ‘What we need in South Africa is for egos to be suppressed in favour of peace. We need to create a new breed of South Africans who love their country and love everybody, irrespective of their colour.’”

The ANC has it RETs and now the DA has Van Damme as the de facto leader of its revolutionary wing. McBuffalo should share notes with Judas Steenhuisen on how to deal with this problem.
