I don’t hide my true identity
Professor Themba Sono is correct that I live in a “colonial constituted democracy” in SA, but I have not forgotten my identity. I practise and enjoy my African traditional and cultural practices. I throw bones, slaughter and call for my ancestors to be with me all the time.
Unlike so many confused Africans, I don’t hide my true identity to appease the westerners. Democracy means I also have the right to defend my African traditions from the likes of Sono and William Gumede. God bless Africa.
