South African film director Michael Matthews’s movie Love and Monsters is on the “best visual effects” shortlist at tonight’s Oscars ceremony. The movie follows hero Joel Dawson (Dylan O’Brien) in a post-apocalyptic journey to be reunited with the love of his life.
