Sale will let you keep on trucking
Park Village Auctions (PVA) has secured yet another collection of quality used commercial vehicles that is sure to satisfy a “continued demand among dealers, fleet and logistics managers across the board”.
So says PVA’s Natashia Goosen, who adds: “While sales statistics for new commercial vehicles have only recently started recovering, used vehicle sales have remained buoyant. I believe that this will continue for some time as buyer confidence and cash flow are still under pressure.
“Discerning fleet managers are turning to auctions to replenish their fleet with newer models in light of the global stock shortage of certain vehicles.”
As ever, the auction will bring to market assorted trucks, trailers, earth-moving and agricultural equipment stemming from genuine bank repossessions, business liquidations and deceased estates.
Speaking about highlights of the coming auction, Goosen singles out a fleet of 2018 Mercedes-Benz Actros 2646 and 3344 trucks, a 2016-2017 Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo 52-seater bus, and a 2018 Revaro hollow-brick-making machine.
After the Actros fleet, the remaining truck tractor stock includes a 2017 UD Quon GW 26-450, a 2018 Volvo FMX 440, a 2016 Hino 500 1726, a Scania G460, a MAN TGS 17-374, an Iveco Stralis 480, a Freightliner Argosy Cat and an International Pro sleeper.
Rigid trucks to be sold include a 2019 Isuzu FTS 750, a 2017 Isuzu NPR 400, and an assortment of MAN TGM 25-280, Powerstar 4035, FAW 8-140, Tata, Mercedes-Benz 1617, Hino 300, Nissan UD40, Mitsubishi and Toyota Dyna rigids.
A 2018 Henred Fruehauf flat-deck, a 2015 Afrit drop-side, a 2015 Top Trailers side-tipper, as well as Paramount, Kearny’s, Roadhog and SA Truck Bodies trailers make up the trailer stock on the block.
Other noteworthy lots include the Revaro brick-making machine, a Case JX90 Tractor, a 2017 Iveco 70C15 panel van, Caterpillar 226B Skid Steers and forklifts and the previously mentioned Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo 52-seater bus.
The assets will be sold at a simulcast auction from the company’s truck yard at gate number 2 of the Nasrec showgrounds in Nasrec Road, Johannesburg, commencing at 10.30am on Thursday.
Viewing will be held on site on Wednesday from 9am to 4pm.
