COVID HORROR OVERWHELMS INDIA
A man walks along a near-deserted street in Mumbai this week during a lockdown imposed to try to contain a new wave of Covid-19 in India, which now has more than 2-million active Covid cases, overwhelming health-care services. According to Bloomberg, the resurgence of the pandemic has prompted the South African government to consider introducing additional measures to stave off a third wave.
