The Morning Show, Season 2 Apple TV+ Now in its second season, this drama starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon — about changes to a popular US morning news show — is struggling to find its feet. If the first season was a pointed, at times uneven examination of the hot button issue of the #MeToo movement, this season it’s a little hard to figure out what the burning issue will be. Aniston and Witherspoon are solidly entertaining and engaging nonetheless. New episodes weekly.

The Voyeurs Amazon Prime Video Yet another take on the classic Hitchcock Rear Window premise, which turns out to be, disappointingly, mere titillation thinly disguised as drama. When a young couple move into a too-good-to-be-true Montreal loft apartment they soon find themselves unhealthily obsessed with the sex lives of neighbours across the street.

IF YOU HAVE 5 HOURS

Blood & Water, Season 2 Netflix The elite South African Cape Town private school pupils return for a second season of intrigue and drama as Puleng and Fikile continue their busybody search for answers to family secrets.

IF YOU HAVE 6 HOURS

Vendetta: Truth, Lies and the Mafia Netflix A six-episode docuseries exploring the close encounters with the Mafia that have ruined the lives of two Sicilian anti-Mafia activists — a journalist and a prosecutor — and turned them from crime fighters into criminalaccused battling for their lives and reputations in a corrupt judicial system.

IF YOU HAVE 8 HOURS

Jaguar Netflix A good old-fashioned, high-stakes Nazi hunter thriller series in which a Holocaust survivor joins the ranks of a band of Spanish agents determined to seek their revenge against former perpetrators.
