● Sugendhree Reddy has been appointed CEO of Access Bank SA.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has previously worked as executive head of personal banking at Standard Bank SA; CEO for retail financial services at Alexander Forbes; general manager of finance at BMW Financial Services; head of treasury at the South African Sugar Associatio­n and senior auditor at the auditor-general’s office. Her board appointmen­ts include Diners Club Internatio­nal and African General Equity. ● Volkswagen Group SA (VWSA) has appointed Thomas Milz sales and marketing director of its national sales organisati­on in Gauteng; he replaces Mike Glendinnin­g, who has retired after 37 years.

Milz has held various positions across the Volkswagen Group since 1997 in Germany, the US, the Middle East and Russia.

Before joining VWSA, he was director for Volkswagen passenger cars for Russia and Commonweal­th of Independen­t States countries.

VWSA chair and MD Robert Cisek said: “We welcome Thomas’s appointmen­t. His wealth of experience across the Volkswagen Group will no doubt be invaluable to VWSA.” ● Aveshni Naicker has been appointed McCain SAF’s human resources (HR) director and takes over from Karabo Mothibi.

Naicker has been working in human capital for more than 15 years, mostly in fast-moving consumer goods. She joins McCain from RCL Foods where she was an HR executive.

She began her career as a trainee HR manager at Pioneer Foods (now trading as PepsiCo); she has also worked as the group human capital executive at Kishugu Holdings.

She has experience in organisati­onal culture and design, employer branding and internatio­nal HR relations.
