Cars going on auction, live and online

● Park Village Auctions (PVA) has announced that its next national bankrepossessed webcast auction will be on Wednesday October 12.

That’s the word from PVA’s Clive Lazarus, who believes now is an opportune time to buy as the market rebounds ahead of the festive season.

Assets on offer range from luxury SUVs and executive sedans to hatchbacks and mid-range passenger cars, commercial vehicles and even superbikes to suit every appetite.

The vehicles are genuine bankrepossessed vehicles from Standard Bank, BMW Financial Services, Absa, liquidators and other financial houses.

Lazarus said: “We’re seeing some brands come back from Covid and, with that, I foresee auction vehicle prices somewhat softening.

“The timing, as dealers start to stock up for Christmas, means that now is an ideal time for buyers to acquire quality second-hand vehicles at highly competitive rates.

“If you’re in the market for a more fuel-efficient set of wheels, or your undergrad’s runaround, the next online auction will present many viable options.

“While the live auction will be entirely virtual, interested bidders can view the vehicles at a local PVA branch from 9am to 4pm on Tuesday October 11 as follows: Gauteng: 221 Main Road, Martindale, Johannesburg; KwaZuluNatal: Quarry Place, off Queen Nandi Drive, River Horse Estate, Durban; Free State: corner R64 and Valentia Road, Waterbron, Bloemfontein.
