It’s a compelling story about a reprehensi­ble group of greedy white schemers and their murderous plot to get their hands on the oil money of the Osage nation in the 1920s, by any means necessary.

A Murder at the End of the World Disney Plus A smart, modern twist on the beloved Agatha Christie whodunnit format is offered in this eerie series which sees the heroine – Darby Hart, a Gen Z true crime writer and amateur sleuth – finding herself one of eight superstar innovator guests invited to a remote retreat by a reclusive billionair­e. When one of the guests is found dead, Darby must use all her resources to uncover the murderer in a show that’s offbeat and engagingly strange.

Natasha Lyonne shines in Rian Johnson’s eccentric take on the classic “Columbo” procedural. Each episode introduces us to a crime and the perpetrato­r before Lyonne’s amateur sleuth Charlie Cane finds herself in the thick of things, poking around to discover the truth. With a star-studded cast of cameos including Ellen Barkin, Adrien Brody and Chloë Sevigny, it’s an enjoyable reimaginin­g of a beloved TV staple that’s modest in its aims but pays entertaini­ng rewards.
