Trading places
● The National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers (Naacam) has appointed Nduduzo Chala as COO and Beth Dealtry as head of policy and regulatory affairs.
Chala will lead the operations division within Naacam, focusing on projects and initiatives for component manufacturers aligned to the South African Automotive Masterplan 2035.
He is certified as a director by the Institute of Directors South Africa and has a manufacturing-focused MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (Gibs).
Dealtry will lead the development and implementation of Naacam’s policy and regulatory affairs agenda as well as managing all research activities undertaken within Naacam.
She has a BCom honours degree in economics from the University of Cape Town and is completing an MCom in competition and regulation economics at the University of Johannesburg.
● Afroteq Advisory, an AFMS Group company, has promoted Xolisa Fumba to executive director.
He has been with the Afroteq Advisory group for the past decade.
Fumba said: “I am very excited about being appointed to this senior role and being trusted with the new responsibilities, as it broadens my professional scope and offers me a whole new range of challenges.
“I am now less focused on operations and more on the company’s development and strategy.
“I am very excited about my new tasks and responsibilities, knowing that I have the backing of Afroteq Advisory’s executive team.
