Paying tribute to those who defied and protested against the country’s period of enforced segregation, inequality and crimes against humanity, the series’ debut will feature Mzansi’s finest musicians, whose work will serve as an audible — and visual — reminder that legends never truly die. April 2 is an apt date for the concert series’ launch as it marks six years since anti-apartheid stalwart Ma Winnie passed away.
