Cargopak – Old-fashioned service, modern approach

CARGOPAK is a family-owned business specialising in the shipping of personal and household effects from South Africa to any country in the world.

Owned and run by Don and Joy Kerr, Cargopak was formed in 1983 and offers a highly professional and personal service. Don handles the initial consultation and free quotation, and then works with his crew (some of whom have been with the company for over 20 years), supervising and assisting with the wrapping, packing and loading.

Cargopak operates throughout KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Free State, and has reliable agents in every major country. But despite the company’s national reach and modern approach, Don and Joy take great pride in providing a truly old-fashioned, personal service.

Cargopak offers a groupage or shared container service, where you pay only for the space you use, and also ships motor cars – either separately or with your household effects.

Cargopak has worked closely for the past 15 years with Protea Pacific, which now operates as two companies – Immagine Australia and Immagine New Zealand. Both companies specialise in obtaining permanent residence to these two countries.

Cargopak also handles local removals in the Durban area.
