Queensburgh development priced to ‘beat the credit crunch blues’

-

LEETON Park, a Meadowbrook Properties development in the heart of Queensburgh, is going ahead – and growing in leaps and bounds. “Excitement is mounting as the fourth phase owners are set to receive their keys to take up occupancy on December 1,” says Wendy Jubber of Lerwick Estates, the marketing agents for Leeton Park

The Leeton Park complex is being built over five phases and is made up of 114 units. The first three phases have already been handed over.

The units are all freestanding and the majority are three-bedroom, two-bathroom simplexes with options of single or double garages. “And the cherry on the top is that they all have private gardens!” adds Jubber. “The perimeter walls with electrified fencing and guards on duty 24 hours a day have made the security of this complex a prime factor.”

Prices start from R575 000 for the two-bedroom, one-bathroom units, which include a carport, while the three-bedroom, two- bathroom units start at R697 000. “This has been a key factor in steady sales,” continues Jubber. “The good news is that the credit squeeze of the last year is a thing of the past as all major banks are now approving home loans more readily.

“The finishes at Leeton Park are up-market and units feature wellfitted kitchens with undercounter ovens and hobs.”

All bedrooms are fitted with built-in cupboards and the units are tiled throughout.

Schooling in Queensburgh is just around the corner, making it easy for parents to drop the kids off on the way to work.
