BIRTHDAY VIRGO YOUR YEAR AHEAD: Although times have been tough, you have survived – so give yourself a congratulatory pat on the back. Sensitivities are heightened, not only to what you consider beautiful and inspiring, but also to the new. Intuitive abilities are also heightened. Prepare for a year of tremendous achievement.
Aries (March 21 – April 20): Not all seems as straightforward as you’d like this week. Relationships come under scrutiny, with couples or business partnerships having to detour from their usual routine. Basically, its a case of changing direction and seeing what survives the rigours of the journey.
Taurus (April 21 – May 20): Taureans tend to hold firm beliefs. Usually it takes a very strong argument to convince you of anything but your own mind. Occasionally, though, you meet intriguing new company that instigates an effortless change in attitude. Is this love? Or, perhaps, a genuine friendship.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21): Should Venus lure you towards financial folly, shun her temptations. Many say you’re a compulsive shopaholic. While there may be some truth to this, somewhere within spend-happy Geminis lurks a smidgen of practicality. Don’t spend what you can’t afford to lose.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22): You’re tolerant, Cancer. Most of the time you can cruise through life without too much drama. Still, there are weeks like this when those around you become irritable or needy, and they can lean a tad too far into your personal space. Step away if necessary.
Leo (July 23 – August 23): Leos are independent. But this week you become less certain of your moves. By chance, the planets promote greater co-operation. So to make progress, simply ask for help. Teamwork seems the answer to your dilemma.
Virgo (August 24 – September 22): Certain realisations can take time to dawn on us. The telltale signs often come in the form of a project or relationship that’s losing its appeal. The question is: are you really interested anymore? If you feel like letting your game drop, maybe it’s for good reason.
Libra (September 23 – October 23): Many Librans are offered a new source of funding this week. Reassuring indeed, as lack of money has been a problem for quite some time. Bad news: you won’t be fully cashed-up for a while. Forget the credit cards too. They’re probably maxed out.
Scorpio (October 24 – November 22): Keep a grip on your emotions, Scorpio. They’re so intense they threaten to control you, instead of the other way around. And no more tetchy outbursts, please. Sure, a little venting helps let off steam, but it won’t solve anything. Ditto for disagreements about money.
Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21): Whether or not you’re ready for a full-on week is beside the point. The fact is, it’s here and there’s no way you can ignore it. Your biggest concern: maintaining concentration. But it’s imperative that you stay focused. Tackle one thing at a time.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 20): If trouble flares, act with diplomacy. The trick lies in distancing yourself from this week’s emotional inferno, rather than getting caught up in it. As soon as Capricorns buy into any over-hyped sensationalism, you lose your earthy pragmatism.
Aquarius (January 21 – February 18): If there’s one thing you know, it’s that you’re a survivor. Even when times are tough, most Aquarians maintain their practicality and optimism. Both tremendous assets that work to your advantage – making this a work-hard, play-hard kind of week. Enjoy all that’s ahead.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Feeling tugged in all directions? A decision does need to be made, and you’re almost there. Take your time, Pisces. Don’t let yourself be bullied, bribed or manipulated. The answer will come when you’re ready, and only then. Let them wait.
