SA National Civic Organisation provincial leader Richard Mkhungo said no leader should retaliate when they were removed from positions.

Party provincial chairman Sihle Zikalala urged mourners, mostly clad in ANC T-shirts, to revive the party. To remedy the situation, he said, members should follow the example of Lulu and her father.

IFP leader, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi was also among those who paid their respects, saying: “My thoughts are with her family knowing that my family and hers are bound together by history and a shared journey,” he said.
