Indian cinema’s power couple romance

-

RANVEER Singh and Deepika Padukone can safely be called the power couple of Indian cinema.

On-screen or off, the duo has amazing chemistry. While both the stars are at the peak of their careers and busy with their respective shoots, they have been planning a romantic getaway to an undisclosed location.

On top of that, according to reports, Singh’s driver was apparently overheard calling Padukone “bhabhiji” (a term of respect) when he picked her up at the airport on her return from Canada where she was shooting for her Hollywood debut.

Padukone was earlier asked how she felt about Singh sharing 23 kisses with Vaani Kapoor in Aditya Chopra’s upcoming film Befikre. She said that she hadn’t seen it yet. However, when recently asked about the same again, Padukone said that if a script demanded it, then an actor had to do it.

She also went on to say she had no problem with it, as she had done kissing scenes in her earlier movies.

– Bombaytimes.com FITNESS freak John Abraham does not approve of the new Bollywood fad of putting on weight for a role, after Amir Khan and Salman Khan did it for their respective films.

The actor said he did not believe in making his weight yo-yo between films.

“I try keep my body in the same shape 365 days of the year. For me, being fit is a way of life, not a phase in life,” said Abraham.

“Unless a role requires me to be obese, I work out and eat healthily all year round.”

Actors gain and lose weight for roles, depending on the kinds of films they are doing. But Abraham believes the constant fluctuation is bad for one’s body.

“The roles I am being cast in now ( Rocky Handsome, Dishoom and Force 2) require me to be physically fit, so I am maintaining that shape. But after that, I am ready to do anything that a role demands.”
