Beware, suicide puts an individual’s spiritual clock in reverse

-

I RESIGNED last year due to work pressure and victimisation. I have since been trying to find a job but have had no luck.

I decided to become a broker, selling property, but deals seems to come close then hit a dead end.

I have always wanted to start my own business, but have not been able to find the funds. Financially stressed, I’ve borrowed from family.

I’ve reached a dead end and nothing seems to work out. I try the Lotto in the hope of winning money to start a business.

I’ve contemplated suicide to escape the pain. Please help if you can. I have a wife and two beautiful children. PN

DO NOT consider suicide. It is no solution in any circumstances and would compound your problem. Spiritually, committing suicide is one of the greatest sins.

According to Hindu belief, a person who commits suicide remains in the Earth’s consciousness as a bad spirit and wanders aimlessly until he completes his lifespan. Then he goes to hell and suffers.

In the end, he returns to Earth to start again and complete his previous karma.

scriptures aptly describe it as the murder of self.

Rather go to a psychologist for a few months if you get these thoughts again.

The best remedy is to read a few pages of the Bhagavad Gita every day.

Everyone, at some stage in life, must undergo some difficulty. We must all learn how to overcome.

Your patience in this adverse situation will be rewarded after a few years as your luck and destiny will improve, leading to a brighter future. You will eventually be happy and prosperous.

According to Vedic scriptures, we’ve evolved through 8.4 million different species of life to achieve the greatest gift: human birth.

So consider yourself blessed and lucky. We are fortunate to be born in human form as we have the power to alter our destiny through good karma (good deeds), hard work, positive thinking, and invoking God’s name.

Only the insane who have no control over their actions are considered unlucky spiritually.

Develop faith by chanting and show devotion to God. Everything in the universe is made of energy, divided into positive and negative.

Every word has an effect on the mind, body and soul. For example, if anyone uses harsh or insulting words, it affects your mind negatively.

In the same way, if anyone praises or talks highly of you, it affects you positively. One good word can change your mood to happiness or sadness.

A mantra is a group of words that help you to become more “in tune” with the cosmic energy around you. The sounds emitted enhance the aura and create a ring of protection around you.

Every mantra has a sound wave that creates a positive vibration to the extent that you attract better opportunities for the actualisation of your desires.

Mantras are so powerful they can make an unfavourable situation favourable, make the impossible possible and nullify bad karma.

So chant “Om Namah Shivaya” devotedly for an hour a day. Also read the Shree Hanuman Chalisa daily.

If possible, be vegetarian five days a week, including Saturdays. And water a peepal tree on Saturdays.

These simple remedies will give you courage and remove obstacles.

Shed negative emotions. Just think of your nice family, have patience, pass the time and have faith in God.

You will be freed from debt and eventually able to lend to others.
