White farmers: facts needed
I READ the article by Zohra Teke (Sunday Tribune, March 12) headed “ANC tells white farmers to apologise for taking black land”) and found some issues odd. Just a few questions: • Regarding the land and machinery given to farmers, where did this take place?
• Of the African farmers excluded from developing their land, where did this take place?
• Regarding the 24 million hectares of land in white farmers’ possession, could you provide satisfactory proof in the form of deeds?
• And have you taken cognisance of the Ingonyama Trust land, which comprises two-thirds of KZN?
It would be great to hear from you.
