Case postponed
A CASE against EFF leader Julius Malema was postponed to October 13 by the Newcastle Magistrate’s Court. He is facing charges of contravening the 1956 Riotous Assemblies Act.
In June, Malema reportedly urged local supporters to invade land, which “whites had no claim to”.
On Friday, Malema was quoted outside the court telling his supporters that he stood by his words.
