DA wins application

ON Thursday in the North Gauteng High Court, Judge Bashir Valley ruled in favour of the DA’S urgent application to have President Jacob Zuma provide reasons for the cabinet reshuffle last month. He was ordered to hand over records of his decision to the DA within five days.

ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said: “This signifies unfettered encroachment of the judiciary into the realm of the executive – pandering to the whims of the opposition.”
