VALAYADAM’S TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL HARVEST

-

Irrigate crops in the afternoon to prevent the wind from wasting water. Properly space seeds to allow each plant to breathe. Create bed-forms and bunkers to prevent soil erosion. The water will get inside the bed-form and soak in the soil. Fertilise using chicken compost and grass cuttings. Clean the garden properly for a good harvest. Rotate the soil by growing different plants. For gardening stories please email: nkululeko.nene@ inl.co.za
