William Blake’s ‘The Sick Rose’
THE poem which opens with the line “O Rose thou art sick” is titled The Sick Rose.
It was written by the English artist and poet William Blake (17571827, Romantic Age) and not by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats (1865-1939).
