ROAD SAFETY WEEK

Acacia Primary School has been nominated by Road Traffic Management Corporation to represent KZN in observing the fourth UN Global Road Safety Week 2017.A launch ceremony was held at the school and national Deputy Minister of Transport Lydia Sindisiwe Chikunga was among dignitaries representing national, provincial and city departments.a representative from the World Health Organisation read out a message from the secretary-general of the UN.THE hashtag for this year’s campaign is #Slowdownsavelives and the theme is speed.the launch has highlighted the interaction between road safety education, law enforcement and engineering.
