Chance meetings and great memories
RISHAL Jairam, a senior business development manager at a pharmaceutical company and Kerisha Bhoola, an actuary at Old Mutual, who both live and work in Johannesburg, married on July 1 at Kendra Hall, Greyville, Durban. HOW WE MET Our paths crossed while we were both working in different departments at KPMG. We met for hazelnut lattes at the company coffee shop and the romance soon blossomed. THE PROPOSAL & MARRIAGE The setting of our proposal was Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe, following a helicopter ride. Rishal caught me completely by surprise when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Our wedding took place in Durban before 500 guests, which was a glorious and memorable Gujarati ceremony infused with moments that will always be treasured. WEDDING BLACK BOOK Manish Malhotra.
