Insolvent estate sees prime flat up for sale

Umhlanga sectional title unit is situated in Gateway Mall area

-

IN AN estates and insolvencies sale at 6.30pm, Ian Wyles Auctioneers will on November 29 dispose of a prime sectional title residential apartment at The Auroras at 9 Aurora Drive in the heart of Umhlanga’s Gateway retail shopping mall district.

The Aurora’s unit number 49 is a large 160m² two-bedroom, double-storey sectional title apartment that the auctioneers say is “attractively finished and modern in design”.

The living areas are upstairs and the bedrooms are on the lower level. There is also a dedicated lock-up garage for the unit.

Andrew Giddy, property manager of Ian Wyles Auctioneers, says: “The instruction to sell is from a trustee of an insolvent estate so the property will definitely be sold at the auction.

“Being close to the popular and busy Gateway Shopping Mall and Umhlanga’s Blue-chip corporate area makes this a very desirable property.

“It will be sold with highend assets relating to various deceased estates also consigned to Ian Wyles for auction.

“These assets include luxury motor vehicles, jewellery, antique furniture and works of art,” he says.

The motor vehicles on offer are a 2014 BMW 420D Grand Coupé, and 2014 Mercedes-benz ML 350PDI.

Included in the jewellery are gold pendants, rings, cut diamonds and watches by Cartier, Rolex, and Tag Heuer.

Among the antique furniture on offer is an Edwardian Welsh dresser and dining room suite, while the paintings are by wellknown artists such as Portchie, Frans Claerhout and Diane Bothma.

Viewing is on November 28 from noon to 4pm and on the day of the sale.

The auction will be held at Ian Wyles Auctioneers offices at 14 Klinker Place, Briardene, Durban.
