DUSHERN & LORETTA MOODLEY
Marriage ensures memorable adventures
DUSHERN Moodley, an electronics engineer of Ballito, and Loretta Moodley, a structural engineer of emkhomazi, were married at the Kendra Hall in Durban on January 7.
HOW WE MET
Loretta and I have been inseparable since we were introduced by a mutual friend. It was like finally finding your best friend.
THE PROPOSAL AND WEDDING
We had a traditional Tamil proposal. Loretta was happy with that, but I wanted to show her how special she was and planned a surprise, leaving clues for her to find me. She eventually found me at the top of the Michelangelo Hotel, overlooking the Joburg skyline. We had an intimate dinner before I popped the question. Our wedding was a traditional Tamil ceremony with 600 guests.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE
Planning a wedding in Durban while living in Joburg was challenging. We tried to make time to meet all the service providers to ensure every detail would be perfect.
