Legendary Anupam’s salute to Priyanka

BOLLYWOOD superstar Aamir Khan, who turned 53 on Wednesday, said his Thugs of Hindostan co-star Amitabh Bachchan’s health is better now and he is back to shooting.

The actors have been part of the movie shoot in Jodhpur.

“I shot with Amitji last night itself. It’s true that he has pain in the shoulder and back. But this film also has a lot of action scenes for him. I think it is after many years that Amitji is doing an action packed movie. So, it’s definitely a challenging film for him and he is coping well,” Aamir told the media.

“He had a shoulder and back injury previously. The pain was aggravated before the film shoot but he’s better now,” he added.

Aamir, who is in Mumbai for a day to celebrate his birthday, marked his special day with members of the media.

The actor hopes Thugs of Hindostan will reflect the hard work being put in.

“I hope the work we are doing on Thugs of Hindostan is good and people really like it.

“I want this film that Amitji and I are working on to be memorable. This is my expectation from the film,” he said.

The movie, being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. Parts of it are being shot at Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort, where Big B has been sharing some picturesque updates. VETERAN actor Anupam Kher met Priyanka Chopra on the set of her TV show Quantico.

He posted photographs from their meeting on Twitter on Thursday morning.

“Thank you dearest Priyanka Chopra for your love and warmth. It was wonderful to come and see you on the sets of ‘Quantico’. You are a star. As a fellow Indian, I am so proud of you and your achievements. Keep our flag flying. You are the best Indian actor, and our ambassador abroad,” he wrote.

In response, Priyanka posted: “Thank you for dropping by Anupam Kher sir. Was absolutely wonderful to see you again. Mere desh ki khushboo… Good luck with what you’re here to do! Can’t wait to see you again. Soon.”

While Priyanka is busy shooting for the third season of her spy thriller show in New York, Anupam is shooting a TV pilot there.
