Make marriage perfect for both of you

-

PRAGASHAN Pillay, 28, an ink technician from Newlands West, and Teloshnee Mudaly, 28, an operations manager from Verulam, married on October 18 at the Golden Palm Function Venue in Phoenix.

HOW WE MET

Pragashan and I were introduced by my cousin in 2015. Before this, he had tried to get my number from my sister-in-law after seeing me at a family function, but he was too shy to approach me.

THE PROPOSAL AND WEDDING

Pragashan proposed shortly after we introduced our parents at his home. For the proposal, he had prepared a three-course meal, then popped the question. We had a traditional Hindu wedding with 160 guests. Our decor was gold and emerald green with pots of roses as we’d wanted a garden wedding theme.

VIEWS ON LOVE AND MARRIAGE

What you put into your marriage is what you will get out of it. Marriage is a sacred commitment between two people who love each other enough to want to experience life’s pleasures and adventures together. No marriage is perfect, but you can make it perfect for you.
