Skycar proposal starts off our adventure

-

CHRIS Odendaal, 27, owner of The Cable Guy, and Meralda Singh, 23, a Nedbank consultant, were married on March 17 at the Angelus Mission Church in Mount Edgecombe.

HOW WE MET

Chris and I met through family in 2010, and we developed a beautiful friendship which blossomed into our relationship today.

THE PROPOSAL AND WEDDING

In January, Chris took me for breakfast at the Durban beachfront. Afterward, we took a stroll on the beach. He wanted to go on the pier, but was disappointed to find it closed.

Little did I know what was going to happen. He then took me on the Moses Mabhida Stadium Sky Car.

I gazed out at the ocean and when I turned back Chris was on one knee with a stunning ring in his hand.

We had a traditional Christian wedding ceremony with 120 of our closest friends and family.
