Up in the clouds on their wedding day

DELON Peters, an IT engineer, and Paige Hurri, a teacher, both of Sandton, Johannesburg, and formerly Durban, were married on December 30 in the Valley of a Thousand Hills.

HOW WE MET

Paige and I met through mutual friends at a 10-pin bowling game. The moment I saw her, she bowled me over completely. I fell for her instantly.

THE PROPOSAL AND WEDDING

I proposed to her one year before our wedding date.

I set up a romantic dinner at the Oyster Box restaurant in umhlanga and got all our family, friends and even the restaurant staff involved in surprising her.

Our wedding took place on the highest point of the Valley of a Thousand Hills, where we were up in the clouds.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE

Our biggest challenge was being apart from each other, because we missed each other like crazy when we were both at work.

Marriage is a sacred commitment that is created when God brings together two people.
